Time to Write
Well, I made an image that impressed me. So, time for an update.

Funny thing, it was a phone shot. And I left it in my gallery for weeks before I posted it. I haven’t been focusing on output, so to speak, lately. Instead, I have been digging into more of the technical training. I just hope that hasn’t impacted with my ability to see the shot and find the angle… that’s what’s most important to me.
It’s Wintertime in Kentucky
I have begun to find ways to cherish winter in my aged psyche. There are certainly enough lessons to offset the frustrating burdens of staying warm. And it provides a break in the home and garden to do things otherwise you wouldn’t prioritize.
Growing an indoor garden is my favorite way to stay productive. Having several years of experience, I am finally getting proficient. With or without the help of the trolls in the basement that is… they love to spread aphids and other blights in the cool dry winter air.
January Trips to Red River Gorge
I also captured a few odd images on a few recent escapades east to the Red River Gorge. Just a short drive past Lexington from Louisville, the Gorge has been a part of my life since college, and its beauty is well documented. Not to mention that summer crowds are replaced with silent hikes of winter tranquility, other than an occasional crashing of icicles from overhangs [be careful!]
Fortunately, if I get icicle-ized, I’ll just reemerge from my frozen brain as illustrated below…
